TEDI – London
Meet TEDI-London student Zainab

What have you enjoyed most about your learning experience at TEDI-London since you joined?

The best part of studying at TEDI-London is that it gives every student a chance to learn in an interdisciplinary manner. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. However, project-based learning encourages you to show off your strengths and help build on the ideas that you’re not so confident on.

What do you enjoy doing on campus?

Being on campus is awesome! My favourite part about being on campus must be walking into the building and seeing all the inviting faces, knowing you have support throughout the whole building even when times get tough.

Why should other students consider TEDI-London?

The real question is why you wouldn’t want to join! TEDI-London is a place where you can meet inspiring and curious people, whilst learning a subject you enjoy. The perks of having such an interactive course is that you will never feel alone when studying and you’ll have great fun while doing it.

About our organisation

TEDI-London is a new and innovative institution for future engineers, founded by three highly ranked global universities: Arizona State University, King’s College London and UNSW Sydney.

We teach engineering differently; from day one students consider industry challenges and work on practical projects connected to global topics. This is to shape you to become the socially aware, creative problem-solver that the engineering industry needs.

If you think you’ve got the makings of a great engineer, you can reach your potential at TEDI-London.

About our programmes

Key Facts #1

You won’t attend any lectures as part of your Global Design Engineering degree! Instead, your learning will be through hands-on projects in the campus makerspaces, supported by online learning content.

Key Facts #2

We take an un-traditional approach to our entry requirements. As such you could come from any subject background and don’t need to have a Maths A-Level to apply.

Key Facts #3

Each of TEDI-London’s student projects is centred around one or more of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, such as maintaining sustainable cities and communities, good health and wellbeing, affordable and clean energy, climate action, and more.
